How much ice do I need?
It depends on the season. In winter, you often don’t need ice at all. To reach 5–3 °C, around 5 kg of ice may be enough.

How do I keep the water clean?

Ik heb 3 weken geleden de Recovery Ultra besteld.
Deze werd binnen 24 uur geleverd. Hij is licht van gewicht maar toch stevig en je zet hem heel snel op.
Met mijn 1.92 meter kan ik er ook goed in zitten. Als Wim Hof fan douche ik al meer dan 5 jaar iedere dag koud. Het voordeel van een bad t.ov. een foto’s dat je lichaam gelijkmatig aan de kou wordt blootgesteld en dat vind ik toch prettiger.
Het water is nu een graad of 16 als ik er ‘s ochtends in stap. Ik zit dagelijks een minuut of 10 in en begin op die manier vol energie mijn dag 😊.
Kan nu mooi wennen aan de temperatuur van het water die richting de winter natuurlijk lekker omlaag gaat.
Kortom: prima product!

Alles heb ik ervaren als erg goed.
1. De site is duidelijk en geeft de juiste informatie.
2.De support(mail)m.b.t. een aantal vragen werd snel en deskundig beantwoord (3 X mailcontact gehad).
3.Het product werd op beloofd tijdstip afgeleverd.
4.Instructie voor klaarmaken ijsbad was duidelijk, hoewel punt 2 van de instructie wat onduidelijk voor me was.
5.IJsbad lijkt erg goed van kwaliteit (ja ook de”deksel” is goed).
6.De eerste ervaring in het (ijs)bad is heerlijk hoewel dat nog niet op ijskoud stond (20 graden).

Zeer tevreden over dit ijsbad. Het materiaal is stevig, goed geïsoleerd en van hoge kwaliteit, waardoor het bad stabiel aanvoelt en lang meegaat. Het bad en de mat werden snel geleverd, makkelijk op te zetten en in gebruik te nemen. Heerlijk!
Helaas is de cover die erbij zit NIET wat er op de foto op de website staat; zeker geen hardcover. Na enig heen en weer ge-email werd deze toch als de juiste cover en ook als hardcover betiteld. Jammer.
Wat meer informatie over hoe je het bad koelt (ja met ijs maar hoeveel?) zonder chiller en koud houdt (neemt de omgevingstemperatuur aan) zou fijn zijn. Ook over hoe frequent te legen, gebruik van ozongenerator vs chloortabletten vs geen maatregelen en hoe het beste te legen en schoon te maken zou handig zijn.

De chiller pro met ultra bad aangeschaft.
Al met al een fijn product, de chiller werkt goed, geluid valt mee. Het ultra bad is ook lekker groot en stevig. Heerlijk genieten van de ijsbaden. Samen met de ozon generator blijft het water echt lang schoon ook.
Het enige nadeel van het bad is de cover, zogenaamd 'hard' cover, maar zo hard is die niet. En zoals te zien op de foto, zakt die helemaal in met regen. Erg jammer want de cover op de productfoto ziet er veel steviger uit, maar deze krijg je er dus niet bij.
Verder kan er wel in de communicatie nog heel veel verbeteren. Het bad werd lange tijd niet geleverd (koeler wel al gekregen), en heb veelvuldig moeten vragen alvorens er een nieuwe zending in orde werd gemaakt.
Maar uiteindelijk wel blij met het product.
Mooi icebad, zet makkelijk in elkaar. de hardcover vind ik tegenvallen, dat noem ik meer een softcover. ziet er wel echt anders uit als op de foto online. Maar makkelijk om in de tuin te hebben als natuurwater wat verder van huis is.
Zalig om even te resetten in een ijsbad en goed dat er kraantjes aan zitten om gemakkelijk te ledigen en later eventueel een chiller aan te zetten. 1 ster minder omdat het echt geen hard cover is. Niet echt erg maar false advertising
Mijn dagelijks ijsbad is echt geweldig! The Plunge zorgde voor een snelle en zorgvuldige levering. Mijn ijsbad is een The Plunge Ultra. Ziet er in het echt wel ietsje anders uit dan op de website, maar ok, daar kan ik mee leven. Het kost wat moeite om het water op temperatuur te krijgen, maar met een dagelijkse routine met ijs is dat uiteindelijk wel gelukt en ik "geniet" er elke ochtend van. Een chloordrijver en de ozonizer zorgen voor het schoonhouden van het water...
Eerst twijfelde ik of dit het geld waard was, maar nu ik hem heb snap ik het volledig. Het bad is groot, stevig en je voelt meteen dat dit geen wegwerp plastic is. Ik ben 1m87 en heb nog steeds ruimte genoeg om echt comfortabel te zitten. Wat ik ook fijn vind is dat het water koud blijft, ik heb hem soms drie dagen laten staan en nog altijd bruikbaar. Opbouwen ging sneller dan ik dacht, wel wat gepruts met de hoes de eerste keer maar daarna logisch. Het neemt wel wat plek in maar eerlijk, het ziet er gewoon gaaf uit in de tuin. Mijn buren hebben het ook al uitgeprobeerd en waren jaloers haha.
